Minder ID and Service Record

Your Service Record

Every product on a plan gets its own Minder ID, and every job done on it is logged underneath: services, repairs, batteries, parts. Like a car's service book, kept for you, on every plan.

What Is a Minder ID?

A short code that belongs to your stairlift, scooter or powerchair for as long as it's on a plan. It's how we, and our partners, find the right record every time.

One ID for Each Product

Issued the day your plan starts, and it stays with that stairlift, scooter or powerchair for as long as it's on a plan. A second product gets its own.

On Every Email We Send

The code is on your welcome email, every service reminder and every job confirmation, so you never have to go looking for it.

Short Enough to Read Out

It looks like MM-26-00431 (an example only). Quote it when you call us, Mobility Repair or any partner, and they can see your plan and your history straight away.

What Goes on the Record

What Gets Logged

Everything done to your equipment goes on the record, whoever does it. Seven kinds of entry, in plain words.

Services
The date of every annual home service, what was checked and the battery test result.
Repairs
Every repair visit: the fault found, the work done and whether it was an included call-out or at your member rate.
Batteries
When batteries were tested and when a new set was fitted, so the plan schedule is always clear.
Inspections
Any inspection we carry out, including the free one we may do in your first 30 days.
Parts Fitted
Each part fitted, with the date, so a warranty question can be answered from the record.
Engineer
Who did the work: one of our engineers, or the partner company that serviced or repaired it.
Next Service Due
When the next annual service falls, so nobody has to remember it.

The record is kept by our office. Nothing is logged against your Minder ID without a job behind it, and you can ask to see it whenever you like. How to Get a Copy

Who Can Write to It

Two kinds of company, and only two: us, and the partners who service or repair your product.

Mobility Minder

Our engineers log every annual service, every repair visit, every battery test and set fitted, and any inspection, on the day. Your next service date is set from the last one, so the record always says what's coming.

Partner Companies

A partner repairer or shop that services or repairs your product can add that job to your record too: what they did, the parts they fitted and who did the work. Mobility Repair is our first partner repairer.

Service or Repair Mobility Equipment?

Partner companies add a job to a customer's record by emailing the office with the Minder ID. The details are further down this page.

How to Get a Copy

Ask, and we send it. The customer portal and product lookup are coming soon; until they open, there is no login to remember and nothing to print out yourself.

1

Call or Email the Office

Quote your Minder ID, or just your name and address if it isn't to hand. A family member can ask on your behalf.

2

We Send You a Copy

The full record, with every service, repair, battery and part logged against your Minder ID, and who did the work.

Ask as Often as You Like

There's nothing to pay and no limit. Ask before a sale, a warranty question, or simply to see when the next service is due.

Ask for Your Copy

One call or one email is all it takes. Have your Minder ID ready if you can: it looks like MM-26-00431.

Why It Matters

A stairlift or scooter with a written history is worth more, easier to stand over, and easier for the whole family to keep an eye on.

When You Sell It On

A buyer can see every service and every part fitted, with dates. Serviced equipment with a record is an easier sale than equipment with a shrug.

Warranty Questions, Answered

When a shop or manufacturer asks what was done and when, the answer is already written down: the date, the part, the engineer.

Family Can See at a Glance

A son or daughter can check when the equipment was last looked at and when the next service is due, without having to ask around.
